Ok, I figured it out. Sorry for the alarm.
This may be helpful to anyone else that runs into this problem.
Apparently, YOUR software and LearnPress uses the same nomenclature for the post_type field in the wp_posts table by using the word > “course” to describe courses. Either you or them needs to change this, otherwise, nasty things are going to happen.
I knew I hadn’t installed this software before because if I had, I would have used this instead of LearnDash which has caused more problems than I can shake a stick at.
Sorry for the alarm.

Sure
This is not on a stock install. I installed this on my staging server. It installed fine on my development server, but when I went to install it on the staging server which is a mirror of my production environment, that’s when I saw the message above.
It’s obviously looking for a table or record, so my let’s go on the theory that it’s right that I have installed it, it’s possible that I don’t remember it. I was trying out courseware packages a few years ago and may have installed it and then deleted it, but to be honest with you I don’t remember doing it, and don’t remember ever seeing the package before. But let’s go on the theory that the installer is correct for the moment: Where would I look in the schema to remove the installed data ? I don’t care about preserving anything.
Let’s just remove what’s there, where would I look and what would I need to delete ?

Yes it is relevant: WordFence sends out an email every day with fileupload attack data in it. My question is how do you lock that down ?

In reply to: [WP-Chatbot for Messenger] chatbot not showing up on the page….Ummm, no I did not. I’m not seeing it at all. I don’t know what you’re seeing but I’m certainly not. I should be able to see this. Shouldn’t I ? Can you send me a note with it ?

ummm….Wfalaa…ok, that takes care of one, but what about the rest of them that are sporadically working ? Because every item on that list the same thing is happening. So should I add * to the beginning of each item ?

Yes, sort of, after a fashion. Sometimes it blocks the user and sometimes it doesn’t.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] CPTUI not allowing update of ANY created CPTyeah I figured as much, your js is throwing errors left, right, and center….
Hmmm…all set. Problem solved. The update wasn’t there when I checked BEFORE I wrote my question above. And now it is. Odd. Anyway…buttons are back now. Thanks.

In reply to: Media Library Filling Up With Images ????I figured out what the problem was.
It was one of the plugins (foliovision – the fvplayer) I am using. One of it’s settings is to create a splashscreen of the page and use that as a image, and then attach it to the post. Uuuuuugh. I turned it off….all set. Sorry to bother.

In reply to: Media Library Filling Up With Images ????[fvplayer src=”https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net/xxxxx/xxxxxx/video.mp4″ width=”880″ height=”480″ controlbar=”yes” splash=”https://xxxxxxxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/filesplash-101-Title.jpg”%5D
I’m using a mediaplayer plugin that uses shortcodes to call and construct the video, part of the call allows for a splash screen. That splash screen is showing up as the referenced image or in this case the secondary copy of the image. Each one of those grey media icons in the images above is the reference file that I’m talking about. It’s represents a link to a post where a very similar call like the one above is used.

In reply to: [Linkify Text] Protect A Word from NOT being linked ?Scott.
Probably #3 is closest to what I was asking about.
I personally have a strong preference for within the plugin page itself, a secondary window block where you’d list page id # and term to exclude:
ex: 4569 => Shells By The Sea
or if you wanted to do it at the page/post level you’d have to add a shortcode to the word or phrase:
[linkify: -nolink “Shells By The Sea”] So the phrase would still appear, but there would be no link.

Thanks for responding.
Here’s an example:
https://tangotopics.com/tangothoughts/thought-070/
This post topic is about LETHARGY, and while I want the word LETHARGY to be a linked word everywhere else on my site, I don’t want it to appear here on this particular page. This is the only draw back with your plugin: I can’t tell it to turn off a link on a specific page.

I run an adblocker, and it was blocking the share buttons.
However, shouldn’t you see those share buttons regardless ?

In reply to: [Better Font Awesome] Link icon?Down at the bottom of the page where is says “SHARE” there’s two icons that should be there, but aren’t. Something is clearly in the way.
