Update:
When I create a new record in the MailChimp dashboard, it will only sync the email field to the WordPress user list.
When I then edit the record I just created in Mailchimp, and just renter the name field (I dont change the content, but renter the same first and last name) then the name fields DO get updated in my WordPress user list.

Per these instructions from your plugin support page it should sync from MailChimp to WP: Does this plugin synchronize data back from MailChimp?

Not by default, but you can enable this by configuring a webhook in your MailChimp account.

On your 2nd quesiotns: Yes, I tried adding a new account and add a new in the user profile on the MailChimp.com site. It only did sync ethe email adress, and not the name.

Update: I tested, and noticed it is unrelated to Contact Form 7, it happens when creating any contact. I just created manually a new contact directly in my admin.mailchimp.com/ users page. I filled in first name and last name plus email address.
Again the MailChimp user sync plugin only synced back the new contacts email address into my WordPress users list. All name fields were empty.

Any solutions ever found for this? I have the exact same issue; I am unable to restrict access to the “posts page”. I can restrict the separate posts just fine, but as soon as any user who is not registered or logged in, go to the \posts URL, the full page with all posts shows without any restrictions.
