Based on the feedback received, I am going to assume that the plugin has died completely. I will look into a new alternative.

That is correct. I have added the wp_related_posts(); function to only appear on my ‘news’ posts but the content that it returns is from all my posts types which I don’t want to appear in this list.

How did you go with solving this?

Are you running a plugin called “Featured Post”? I am, and I noticed the same link randomly appear on my site. I resolved the issue by removing that plugin. Since then, the link has not reappeared.
