RESOLVED??? NO, not with me at least!!
I just updated WF with the newest version.
And guess what?[Aug 12 12:25:34] Notice: Undefined index: coreUnknown in /home/boox/domains/booxalive.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceHash.php on line 141
Please, fix this, dear WFdevelopers, as you promised.
It still arouses some panic, at least with me…Ah, my notice is NOT gone… ??
AH!!! The alarming notice is GONE!
Thnx to you all!I hope a fix can be found and provided with the upcoming update.
And I DO hope it also will be for the free plugin version!Hi there Wordfencers & @wfalaa!
Since today I have this notice:
“Notice: Undefined index: coreUnknown in /home/boox/domains/booxalive.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceHash.php on line 141”
Is this similar to what you all are speaking about?
To me, it seems something directly related to the Wordfence plugin.
As I am new to maintaining a website, I really don’t know how to handle these things.Hope somebody can relieve my anxieties…

In reply to: Inline LinksHi @gary Pendergast!
Thank you for your swift answer!! As I have just a simple childrens story site, I never thought too deeply about the ethics on to how to open links in general.
For internal links indeed the inline links option is allright!
But when I refer to pages outside my site, I let them open with blank target.
Then the Inline Links is just one step too much, and an annoying one since it sticks like magnetic on the selected text/image.
But your linked info tells me more about the ethics, and I acknowledge that now! The link in that info to wikipedia-outsidelinking-icons puzzled me, for there was no information how to make that ‘outside(blank target)’ icon.By the way: Excuse me for my bad WPtechnical English. ??
As for the problems with moving images (with links) around:
the HTML-editor always messes up the codes.
With each linked-image the correct code should be (example):“
<img class=”alignnone wp-image-13181″
src=”https://booxalive.nl/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/winkelpret-03-243×300.png”
alt=”winkelpret, winkelen met papa, peuterverhaaltje, groep 1 – 2 – 3, fantasie in supermarkt,
online voorlezen” width=”139″ height=”171″ />And the href is always messed up when another linked image comes to join. Then the new image automatically takes the href from the existing one.
So I’ve put this correct example of code in a doc., and by hand in the html-editor I have to control all the images and put the right href’s in the right images (while I am not a code-oldie at all), a lot of work!
Maybe it’s better to understand when you see one of my pages where a lot of switching is done (new stories will be added, sometimes I change the order of all the images: https://booxalive.nl/midi/
I had this problem before and had contact about that with some friendly developers. It seemed they fixed that for a while. But with the introduction of the (horrible – to me) inline links this problem is back again…
I hope you have enough info about my problem, dear Gary!
Best wishes, Magda

In reply to: Inline LinksHi there!
May I please PLEASE add my pledge to remove that Inline Links thingy?
There are no options to put the link in a new window, so you have – like we always did WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM – to go on top of the editor and open the link-icon. Extra clicks and extra annoyment, for that thingy sticks to the linked name, even when you want to do something else.I do not understand why that thingy is important nor what good it might do. It only takes precious time.
Also when you want to drag and drop images with links, the links don’t move with them, all the code in the HTMLtab is messed up!Apart from these two flaws, a big thank for the whole of the WordPress system!! ??
Best wishes from Magda in Amsterdam
Hi @wfmattr,
There were other forums where we were discussing this problem and found that same solution! I had totally forgotten about my post here.
Last week I wanted to update my review (from 4 to 5 stars), but some strange thing happened – when I hit the ‘post’-button (after correctly filling in my version of WP), it didn’t get published. Tried it 20 times, from different browsers, but no publishing.
So hereby I like to thank you and all your coworkers for this BEAUTIFUL GEM!!

Hi BreezyOhio (I am a woman actually: Maggy goes digital hihi)
Wow, I never had a clue about cpu! Never too old to learn. Thnx for explaining. So are those leaks produced by WF? Luckily I normally have 4 tabs open in Chrome and my site (3 tabs) in FF (who acts very strange lately – I fear its my 4 years old laptop; indeed over time things deteriorate).
The problem you mention I don’t recognize (but that’s due to my lack of knowledge).
But for all the others who experience a blanc display in the Life Traffic: the solution is to check all your plugins. They all have to be compatible with WP4.5!! So de-activate all the plugins, except WF. Then one by one activate them, and each time check whether WF stays steady.
Then you will see WF is fantastically updated!!
Hi! There were more people who suffered this. We all experimented, with the support of WF self. We discovered that it were other plugins who are NOT compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
So what did we do? We deactivated all plugins, except WF. Then you can see IT WORKS! Then add one by one the other plugins and keep on controlling WF.
I had a not-compatible scroll-to-top plugin. As soon as I changed for another, everything worked again.Lots of succes @msprettyfeet!!
Dear Brian!
I followed your advise and deactivated all plugins, and then activated them one by one, and each time WF worked as magically as you promised!
But this plugin was the killer: VainCode Animate Scroll To Top.
So I have to find a new one for that.
I hope the others also found their killer-plugins.The new Firewall and interface of WF is AWESOME!!
Thank you all, developers & helpers. You do great work!Dear @capaho,
I’m unknown with all these things like SSS (?).
I just wanted to provide the WFplugin developers all the information to find that big flaw by which Life Traffic is blanc, no rolldown menu, no data display, just as is the case with @bluebearmedia and @paisleygirl.
I even don’t know how to downgrade my WordPress 4.5 as @bluebearmedia did – I am so sorry.
But all these days without the normal protection of WF, that scares me….
I also don’t have all those plugins.
But it’s good to know that the Wordfence activity continues, though without displaying it.
I noticed, by the way, that on top of ‘Wordfence Life Activity’ is mentioned:
“Scan terminated with error: There was an error connecting to the the Wordfence scanning servers: Failed to connect to noc1.wordfence.com port 443: Connection time… (more I couldn’t read and copy on this line)”Can this give a clue what is conflicting WP 4.5 and Wordfence 6.1.3?
Feels like a cliffhanger, since it’s way past bedtime in Amsterdam ??
Hope tomorrow all might be as fantastic as it was before 6.1!Thnx, Brian, in advance!
