Also maybe add an option to center images would be nice?
@ferranfg Seems to work fine with the images ??
One thing I noticed on the new book I exported is that the page count seems to be weird, like the page count is waaaay higher than what’s actually true on pages that have images. I’m wondering if it has to do with the long base64 string in the img-tag?
@ferranfg Thanks I will have a look, a bit busy this weekend but probably able to squeeze it in.
@ferranfg Cool! If you need help testing, hit me up.
I think either
em
orrem
should be the way to go, atleast in theory with my knowledge of CSS and e-books. Not sure if there’s any quirks in ePub especially that might be contradictory here.Never mind, I figured it out. It’s because they are linked to the URL of the image and not bundled with the e-book itself.
There is no way to have images bundled with the e-book?
So I had a quick look at the style.css in the exported ePub, and it seems changing
line-height
onp
from absolutepx
to relativeem
at least solves the problem and the lines are no longer overlapping when changing font size. Can’t really tell if changing line spacing does anything though, I’ve never had to change it any book I’ve read so I’m quite unsure how much it’s supposed to affect things.I don’t really know how either ePub or e-readers work, but shouldn’t all units be expressed in relative terms instead of absolute?
