In reply to: [Blockify] change site logo?Hi that is super helpful. Thank you. For some reason in the earlier version any time I clicked on the logo block, it would not show me the option to “replace”. Now I see it.
When I updated to the latest version the entire formatting was broken unless I activated the Gutten plugin. Is that expected behavior? Is there a requirement for Gutten? I thought WordPress was building that into core? Will the Gutten plugin no longer be needed at some point? are you able to explain why it is needed now?
Many thanks!

In reply to: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser in WP 4.4.2yes. I had Jetpack installed.
But on my new installation I still have it installed again and its working okay.
Many times I went into PHPmyAdmin and deleted the “active_plugins” option from the wp_options table – and that didn’t solve the problem either.

In reply to: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser in WP 4.4.2I deleted all files. Created a brand new database and did a fresh install. That worked. Not sure why. But I will be re-uploading things one by one to see if I can figure out what the problem was. Will post back here if I find anything in case anyone runs into the same problem.

In reply to: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser in WP 4.4.2I moved the database to the same “sever” setup as the shared resold account domain. Changed the correct database and user in wp-config.php – did not solve problem. Changed to default theme and no active plugins. Still getting the cookies are blocked error.
Guess my next step to troubleshoot is backup everything, delete everything, and try a fresh install to see if that cures it.

In reply to: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser in WP 4.4.2my host is kinda clueless. but one thing I did notice is that I recently changed hosts. My new host, I have a reseller account to make the separation of my different sites easier. So the mysql database for this site is under my main account. However, the actual files for this site are under a “separate” hosting account. So the database is point to my main hosting account and the website and files are under a “resold” account -but all on the same shared server. This shouldn’t matter, I wouldn’t think. The wp-config.php file is pointing to the database.
Could this be the culprit? I may have to export the database and create new one on the separate domain hosting account and see if that helps.

his post was 2 years ago so not sure what changed. I don’t see, however, a “domain=\” part, but not sure if this changed since then.

In reply to: Extra white space on Zerif Lite pages, between tickets to purchasehow comfortable are you editing CSS ?
Your theme is calling 19 CSS files so it could be coming from anywhere. It will have to be a process of elimination.

In reply to: As a TOTALLY ignorant, first-time WordPress user, where do I start? So I am guessing you want some sort of portfolio-type website where you can display all your images and then people can contact you to buy the images? Do I have that right?
You can absolutely customize the theme look and feel without knowing code and without going into the loop – but that depends on what theme you have.
It sounds in your case that picking the right theme will do wonders for you.
