CharlesHi lelka,
This error means that PHP cannot access to your file to calculate its size. The two most common reasons are :
– lack of permission, PHP has insufficient rights to read the file, hence calculate its size
– the file is unavailable, it’s referenced in you Media Library, but the file has been deleted without being deleted from WP. Check that the file /home_site_path/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/yellow.png existsBest regards,
CharlesHi Gore.m,
Good news ??
Now, enable your log in resmush.it page (/wp-admin/upload.php?page=resmushit_options), and check the log file located at the root of your WP install (resmushit.log).It’s often due to a missing PHP extension such as CURL.
Best regards;
CharlesHello,
By enabling the reSmush.it plugin, you should have a new page available in Medias > reSmush.it (yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/upload.php?page=resmushit_options).
If this page is blank, check your PHP error log if you have any issue.

CharlesHi Saul,
Thanks for your rating ??
We’re working on making the optimization “cronned”. Keep you posted.Best regards;
CharlesHi Vladimir,
It’s an interesting feature, we’ll look into it ??
The API is already managing EXIF preservation/destruction, it has to be implemented in the plugin.

CharlesHi Gore.m;
Have you tried with another browser such as Chrome (it seems you use IE?)
Best regards;
CharlesHi Jackyjake,
It’s more a plugin concern due to WordPress API. The plugin first browse into the database to fetch all the pictures attachment, which can be pretty long if you have a huge amount of images.
We’ll think about it to find other solutions for this issue.
Best regards,
CharlesHi Bwbama,
This option can’t be implemented :
– if we do not preserve the original picture, if you change the quality ratio, it would optimize the picture from an already optimized picture, which would bring poor quality to pictures.
– What’s more, if you optimize your pictures at a pretty low quality (eg. 30), you can’t rollback your pictures to a higher quality.Hence, this feature is compulsory to avoid to loose data!
Hope this helped;
Best regards-
CharlesPS : please rate our plugin if you liked it ??
Hi Cparris,
The plugin keeps a copy of your original picture (backed with -unsmushed). A classic way to restore your original pictures, is to force quality to 100% and disable the plugin.

CharlesHi Marcosdipaolo,
Do you have check if you have the PHP Curl extension enabled ? Maybe you should check in your PHP’s error log to detect an error.

Hello deOnore,
Thanks for your feedback, it’s a good way of optimization for the plugin. We’ll consider it for a future release.

PS : do not hesitate to rate our plugin if you liked it ??Hello MBV (and Gore.m!),
As we said to Gore.m, it will optimize according to the belonging to the Media Library. In which case of use do you have your pictures outside the media Library ?

Charles
