That CSS solved it. I changed the homepage setting and it must have flushed the cache – sorted!

Okay, so I found some custom CSS on the Haul site which, when you disable it, knocks the header image down below the menu bar so it looks like my site.

Added this snippet via teh CSS customizer:

.home .site-header {position: absolute;width: 100%;z-index: 999;left: 0;}

But still not working… Anyone solved this?

Hi Andrew,

The Shoreditch theme actually has 3 column layout functionality built in. Check this page and look at the “This variation creates a three-column layout:” description.

Your webpage looks fine to me in Chrome and Incognito Chrome though?

Thank you for explaining that. The effect I’m after is to make the image darker, which I don’t think I can do with CSS opacity?

Is there different way to achieve this or would I need to edit the image or overlay a div and manipulate that?

But just to confirm, this DOESN’T do what I need – I think the functionality you’re describing discounts each product, not the total.

Great spot! I’ve updated my version of PHP from 5.3.29 to 5.5.31 and the issue has gone away.

I’ve gone for that method as opposed to the code change, but thank you for investigating.

Hi, is this issue fixed yet?

I have an issue on a WP site using Sequential (with a child theme) whereby the social icons are reduced to “squares”.

It’s on the contact page of my site here.

Or is this a separate issue?

Hi Rob,

I think you may be able to achieve this in either the dashboard or Customizer.

For the number of posts, can you try setting this in your dashboard? Navigate to: Settings -> Reading and there is a value labelled “Blog pages show at most”, which defaults to 10. Try changing this to see what effect it has.

For the recent comments, this may simply be a widget you can remove from the sidebar. In your dashboard, navigate to Appearance -> Widgets and there is a column on the right hand side entitled “Sidebar”. Simply open up the widget you want to remove (by clicking the small down pointer next to the widget title) and click delete.
