@modemlooper…. mmm CORE BP function? where can the user set his profile privacy so that a non friend cannot see your profile?

ok installed 0.9 – loads ok no errors on install – but cannot find it in any admin menu (did network install)…

Also when i click on show Likes it briefly (AJAX) loads the unlikes but it disappears almost immediately thereafter – looking good – just few tweaks needed

@david… tx for reply…. Yes I confirm entry exists in sites table for main site (see attached pic)… the moment i // out the DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE, the site won’t load

i noticed that i still have the following code in my theme functions.php – is this still required after 1.1 upgrade?

@imath – yes i see you logged in – thank you for confirming that – could it be permissions (folder permissions) related? i find it strange, as it all worked b4, only upgrade i did was to 1.1 and offcourse BuddyPress to 1.8

disabling sign up in woocommerce is critical for our site… it is important that a new user can view product and then sign up on checkout page… am i reading this wrong?

after…. i posted a video of the problem here – as u can see from there i can get into admin ok, and even view posts from 2nd network…. BUT as soon as i try to load the root of that domain – it reverts to my main blog on original network

made a video of problem experienced – smeak.com being main (old multisite with root blog) and musicmatrix.co.za being the network i want to set up (sharing users themes etc)…. as u can see I can access admin of new network no problemo – and even blog posts from the admin… but it wont load if i try to go to root of that domain/site…. just keeps loading root blog of original network

@ron – I bought your plugin…. Instruction are a bit vague… I allready have WP Multisite installed, one site with 50/60 blogs set up in a subdomain deployment.

I activated your plugin – what worries me is I don’t see my existing site and domain in the list of networks, i added a new network, and i see it did write to wp_site table ok….

My worry is why don’t i see my existing install? When I comment out the 4 lines in wp-config as you stipulate in instructions, my existing site won’t load

What am i doing wrong?

@kat_indo … my skype is [moderated] or u can get hold of mwe on chat at https://smeak.com. Difficult to say… we need to compare installs… you are going to have to tell me a bit more about install, plugins etc… I will do my best to assist…

My install works… well almost too well… some users really import a lot of nonsense … but you can control that. Let’s start by getting your install details, eg WP versions, BP versions… main plugins etc… We will also have to take a big look at yer FB app settings… they must be correct

@imath – thank you for replying so quick… tried steps as suggested… unfortunately no errors in java console… i then went back to root and uploaded a test file… it asks for name, then privacy select box appears.., then the ajax uploader.. but no ask for folder step ??

The site is at https://smeak.com – any member that signs up, or use FB to sign up cam upload files… so maybe you can check… I know this is also personal Q, but I was also hoping to engage you possibly if u have time for paid work regarding yer missing avatar mystery man and knowledge of BP signup procedure

I like this idea as well… I was thinking it would be great to have a similar feature such as dropbox… possibly hooking into invite anyone plugin or cubepoints, allowing the user to “earn” more disk space by a successful sign up after invite or using their “points” to “buy” more diskspace
