In reply to: [WooCommerce] How customize File not found-pageHi Barry,
Thanks for your answer!
I am willing to do what it takes because this page breaks the whole site and it’s totally user-unfriendly. It would be great if you could point me in the right direction on how to make an override in an update-safe manner.
Thank you, have a nice day!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Replace Download button with file nameHi,
It’s a WooCommerce Product page where I ticked the checkbox “Downloadable” file.
I am using the plugin “WooCommerce Catalog Mode by GTS” to make the shop to a product catalogue.
Screenshot from the WooCommerce settings:

https://ibb.co/LtS6LfRScreenshot rom the frontend where you see the Download button:
https://ibb.co/sCCCypyIf you add more than one downloadable file, the file names will show. But when there is only one file, you get the “Download” button.
It would be great if you have any clue on how to always show the filename.
Thank you!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How customize File not found-pageHi again,
I managed to locate the not so user-friendly file in WooCommerce, which is this ugly looking page I want to avoid.
It’s the file “class-wc-download-handler.php” in the folder “includes”.
When the file the user wants to download is not found, this page comes up.
Is there a way to avoid this page and redirect the user to the customized 404-page?
Else, how do you customize this “class-wc-download-handler.php”-page?
Thank you!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How customize File not found-pageHi,
Now I have tried the links above and the 404-page is working for regular pages, so no problem there.
But the problem is that WooCommerce doesn’t find the 404-page. How make WooCommerce redirect to the 404-page instead of to the “File not found”-page?
Is it possible to add some code to the htaccess-file that will force the WooCommerce product page to load the 404-page?
Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How customize File not found-pageI am using the Divi theme and already made a 404 page in their Theme Builder. But the page “File not found” is shown anyway, so maybe it’s better to make a regular WP 404 page. I will try the solutions in your links.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA] Can’t save setting ‘_self’Hi,
Thank you for your answer!
I checked the console but there are no errors.
Do you have any idea of anything else that could cause this issue?
The other options can be saved without any problem, it’s only the “_self” option which is not possible to save.Hello again,
I just realized what the problem was. I made a change of the template which caused the problem.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
All the best!Hello,
Thanks for your fast response.
I had changed the permalink of your plugin, but I tried go back to the original one and also reset the WordPress permalinks, but unfortunately this didn’t make it work.
I also have an older backup where I didn’t change any permalinks of your plugin, but it also has the same problem.
So I guess it’s something else?- This reply was modified 3 years, 2 months ago by maddex.
