It’s not solved yet. I have manually set the height currently. When set to full height it will not show in firefox and safari.

Please mark this topic as resolved.

Few things you can do now:

1. Check the problem continue by installing a WordPress in you another folder without installing any plugins.

2. Deactivate all plugins and try to upload an image.

3. You should try by fresh installing WordPress.

Are you running you MAMP with Apache and MySQL running.

One of the database information is incorrect. Do create a new database and assign username and password with all privileges given to the new user.

If thats the database error then it may be one of the error regarding this

Database Name: yourdatabasename
User Name (database): root
Password (database): root
Database Host/server: localhost
Table Prefix: wp_

look for it if its correct. wp-config.php file in wordpress folder

Your site localhost:8888/wordpress not :port/wordpress

Please do install the theme and do check for the theme setting to change the column settings.

Basically WordPress doesn’t impose lockdown.

Do you have excess to Cpanel of yoursite.

One reason that might cause this is upload problem.

Do check by changing the list to grid view and check if the image shows up or not and do check the url of the image.

BTW what’s your WP Ver., Is it 4.1.1

Are you saying you can’t upload images through WordPress media library.

It seems that some one is trying to login to you main account. Are you using some lock out plugins or something like that.

It seems that the file has not upload as you can see there is no thumnails shown. Do upload the file using wordpress media and check if it work or not.

You can update the your current theme if its available. You can change your theme by going to Appearance-Themes.

FYI your content is intact while you change your theme

Please login to your site dashboard & do check if the images is there or not and check the link too of the image file if it exist.
