Changing the permissions worked!
Now how do I go about retroactively protecting my site? It seems we have some issues floating around that are a few months old. I’ll play around with WordFence now, but thought I’d ask to as I want to make sure we’re not turning up on blacklists, and not being attacked by anymore Malware.
I do see the .user.ini file at my root, and here is all it contains:
And here is all that is in the .htaccess file, so no I do not see those that you asked about.
I have uploaded the error files here for you to take a look at:
Error_logActually, it looks like they are the same file? Just in case, here is the other one:

Following up as I’m very interested in getting these error messages and malware sorted out.
Thanks for the update, whatever that may be!
I have downloaded those two files. Is that what you wanted me to do? Can I send them via private message or email to you?
Did you need me to do something with that .htaccess file?
Thank you!
Sent. Thank you! I’m definitely curious to see what we can do to RID this website of the malware that’s been plaguing us for well over a year.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Like others, Contact Forms no longer workingI heard back from my hosting site (reply below), and they are saying it is an issue with the plugin or at least its configuration?
Can someone help me from this point? It used to work so great, and oddly enough, some of them ARE working, while others are not. For instance, “MLB The Show” seems to work, but “College Football” do not.

Thank you for your replication steps, I was able to replicate the problem. It seems the mail script is encountering an issue with the reply-to address when attempting to authenticate. I found this error in apache logs from my test run.
[Mon Jan 09 11:08:51 2017] [warn] [client 173.227.74.5] mod_fcgid: stderr: ERROR PostmanWpMail: Exception code=0 message=Invalid “Reply-To” e-mail address “[[email protected]]”, referer: https://simsportsglobal.com/?page_id=429
It appears send mail is working fine on the server and the only problem stopping the script from working properly is a possible mis configuration of the code/configuration of the script. Unfortunately as configuration/coding of a script is beyond our scope of support, we will be unable to assist you with the resolution on this issue.
If you encounter any further issues with anything else or have some questions/concerns with this, feel free to reach out for assistance.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Like others, Contact Forms no longer workingIs there any way a developer of this mod could give us a hand? I’m happy to grant them access to our dashboard if it helps–it’s probably something very minor, but I’m not sure what it is as these have always worked up until recently and I haven’t touched them.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Like others, Contact Forms no longer workingI tried creating a fresh instance of a contact form, but it has the same issue. Not sure what is causing this to suddenly not work after working for 2 years.
Thanks for the response–I don’t think there’s much I can do to fix this on my end. Hopefully I hear something else over the weekend.

In reply to: [WP w3all phpBB] So close, but need some help with absolute path!Thank you! I have it working, but am left with one more question:
When a new user signs up in phpbb, the account that is cloned to WordPress (not sure exact wording for what actually happens) defaults to them being a ‘subscriber’.
Can I change what it defaults to? I know I already the feature set in WordPress to make new users ‘contributers’ but something seems to be overriding this.

In reply to: [Wordpress File Upload] File Not Uploaded Error (latest update?)I’m not sure I know the answer to that. I’m not very versed in this.
I know it was working fine for well over a year. If there’s another place I should change the update directory to, I’d be happy to try that. I guess I’m not sure why the existing location that worked fine before suddenly was no longer acceptable.
I’m hoping to get this fixed asap as I have a collection of people trying to submit files.
Thank you! Love the plugin, just need to get it to work again!

In reply to: [Wordpress File Upload] File Not Uploaded Error (latest update?)It is within my WordPress site. I have them uploaded to a subdirectory:
https://www.simsportsglobal.com/ssgcf.simsportsglobal.com/ssgcollegefootball/exports
My actual WordPress site is simsportsglobal.com. The ssgcf is the college football subdirectory.
This used to work just fine until the most recent update, FWIW.

In reply to: [Wordpress File Upload] File Not Uploaded Error (latest update?)Thanks, Nick. I can get a success message now, but the file just vanishes into nowhereland.
Here is my code now:
[wordpress_file_upload uploadpath=”https://www.simsportsglobal.com/ssgcf.simsportsglobal.com/ssgcollegefootball/exports/” uploadpatterns=”*.coa” maxsize=”999999999999″ forcefilename=”true” showtargetfolder=”true”]The file says it uploaded, but it isn’t appearing in that folder.
