In reply to: [SpeakOut! Email Petitions] Signature count not updatingNo worries. Apparently it is just the caching policy of EasyWP, that is VERY radical.
Thanks for your time and work.

In reply to: [SpeakOut! Email Petitions] Signature count not updatingNo, I’m afraid we’re not asking for confirmation.
It’s still happening. People entering for the first time see a number that’s 12 hours old (191) when it should show 455. When I log into admin and look it up, then return to the web, it shows correctly…
… but then I return later (this morning) and it shows 191 again.
I’d have thought it was browser caches but it isn’t (people who had never visited the page see it wrong).
It’s important, arbitrary jumps are going to get us bad press…

In reply to: [SpeakOut! Email Petitions] Version 1.20.0 Broke PetitionYes, it works now (despite the “fly in the ointment” :-)). Thanks indeed.
I’m only finding an issue left in our test petition and it is that the address fields are not showing despite being marked in the configuration. Specifically, the CP field.

In reply to: [SpeakOut! Email Petitions] Version 1.20.0 Broke PetitionSame problem here. I have the plugin on another site and is working nicely; we set up a new one today with the new (11 hour old) plugin version, and it does not create petitions. It has the same configuration as the other one.

In reply to: [eShop] [Plugin: eShop] Payment accepted, item "sent", no email receivedThanks esmi.
None of the above. It was in fact simpler. Both the test customers and the admin were using Google Apps. Since the site was in a development server, Google Mail decided that the eShop messages were illicit (the “from” email did not match the actual domain it came from) and killed them before reaching the mailbox. I’d seen it happen before.
Sending to a non-Google managed email account results in email properly received.
Once the site is off the sandbox the problem should disappear.
It might be interesting to note this possibility in the wiki.
Best regards,
Miguel
