I’ve been using Google fonts Open Sans manually using @import, and recently noticed the text was not displaying in Chrome unless I viewed the page source or inspected said element – then it would magically appear. I tried this plugin to see if made a difference, but got the same results. Seems the problem lies not with this plugin, but with Chrome. This workaround seems to work, for now.

Once you download and unzip the plugin, you need to upload the powerpress-posts-from-mysql folder into your plugins directory ( wp-content/plugins ), then activate the plugin.

If the database resides on the same server as your WordPress install, host should be localhost. It will work with remote databases as well.

This plugin has been dormant for some time now. I apologize for the delayed response. I’m trying to get this rewritten from the ground up, but it’s had to take the backseat to more pressing matters. Let me know if you still have any questions or any ideas about how to improve it.

This plugin does not affect any PowerPress settings and deleting it will not remove any posts made with it; your feeds will not be gone.

I looked into this and found the connect.php file was missing. I’m unsure what happened. I replaced all files and checked on both local and remote WordPress installations, adding the plugin from WP Admin Panel. Both functioned correctly. I apologize for the trouble.
