Hi,
Since I am trying to get this (probably nice) plugin to work with a FB Group.
Does it work with Groups? (version 1.1.1)
Because I get the message “No recent Facebook status updates to show.”Hope to hear.
Thanks

Copy/Paste and modify for other fields….Hi Bill,
Thanks again for you time.
I fully understand your line about the free support, no problem at all.
For now I can solve this by simply using a page. If and when the shop will really take off, I can look into it further.Forum: Plugins

Hi Bill,
Thank you for your reply.
You are almost right, and you’re idea was the obvious one I already tried.
Let me refrase my goals:
a. I want to hide all posts from my home page
b. I want to show them on another page.Sounds simple, but:
As for as I can see my plug-in or theme (am not sure which, assume plug-in) needs the basic WP setting ” Settings -> Reading -> select “your latest posts””.
If I do not use this settings I will not get all functionality from my plug-in (or theme)
That’s the reason your idea wil not work. So:
Is this plug-in capable of hiding all posts from the page with is assigned to show “your latest posts”?And secondly: can I use it to show the posts somewhere else (assume so, that’s what it’s for) ; )

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Not working with WooCommerce?Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
– Plug-in is active
– Settings page is OK
– I played a bit with the settings, but the put-ons only shown on “regular” postsMaybe it is a theme problem, I use artificer
So I am a bit stumped here.
If you could take a look, I would appreciate it.
https://www.jassie.nl/woo (work in progress)
EDIT:
Found it more or less.
WooCommerce uses 2 text area’s in the backend for products.
– The “regular” one
– One called “Short product description”I only entered text in the second one, no Share buttons are shown
After entering some text in the standard field, the buttons showed.(Check product “https://www.jassie.nl/woo/winkel/nintendo-dsi/27”)
If you could explain how I could make the buttons shown when entering text in the “Product description” field I would be very happy.
I saw that the buttons do not align properly., some tip to solve this would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
ArjenHi,
That’s what I call support!
A fix on sunday (that’s what is over here at least : )).Works like a charm now.
Thanks so much.
I’ll consider a donation as soon as I will use your plugin on sites I get paid for, which might happen rather soon.
(This one is for free, so sorry for this one.)I’ll rate the plugin 4 to 5 stars, (have to play a bit)
Versions “3.2.1/1.3.1 are set to “Works”Never mind point 2.
The moment I checked the link in my post, the font is OK… (Although I have triple checked, emptied caches etc.)
Point 1 is still valid though
Zack,
Thanks mate, that’s quick! I was hoping to see something like this within “some months” or so.
I am not much in the next days but will try to test this next week.
As said, if I get the job a donation will be sent.Regards
BTW. Could I have your opinion on my previous post? Does it make sense?
@ Scott, Well you know what to do. Donate ??
@ all, I’ll write down what I try to achieve, so at least that’s clear.
The idea is to create a site for an atlethics sports club. (around 500 members).
On the site there will be a form (Grafity form) where people can request membership of the club.
– Filling en sending the form should lead to:
a. e-mail to members administration, with the form info + request for account approval.
b. Automatic creation of the new account (not active until admin approves)(Membership plugin/WP functionality?)
c. store all info into the DB (Gravity Forms)– The Account approval process, must give the ability to store extra (admin only) info the the users account (Gravity Forms)
– After account approval, an e-mail is sent to the new member with their login details
– The user should then be able to login to the site (preferably not the WP login, but maybe rerouted to other page?), where he/she can see/modify their own membership data (only the non-admin info of course).
– The website will get an option to show (a subset of) all clubmembers, if possible segmented based on some categorie info (Grafity forms Directory add-on)
– All data (or subsets thereof, can be exported to CSV for usage in other systems (Excel, Filemaker Pro, financial system)
– Later on, there might be the idea to connect this system with other systems, but since all data resides in the DB, that should not be too hard (if you have the knowledge)
And of course since the user will be a WP user, it allows for account usage for posting or connections with forum or other connected systems.
I hope this clarifies what I am trying to achive.
Very reasonable amounts I think.
As soon as I know more about my project I’ll let you know.
Hope we can pul things off.
Regards
Hi Zack,
I understand and agree, It’s only fair to pay someone for his labour. But donating for something that I “might need” (depending on if I get the job) is at least in my situation not feasible.
Just to understand, what kind of amount do you consider as “reasonable”? Personally I am just a small/hobby sitebuilder with limited resources, but I see at least 7 people here wanting such feature, so we might help each other out here.
Regards
+ 50
The sooner the better ; )
Am considering donating if such functionality would be there. Am currently in the process of quoting for a new site, looking for this kind of functionality.
Maybe more people considering donations?
I just rated 5 stars, both for a working plug-in and your great support.
Hi,
Thanks a lot. Solved the problem.
I just didn’t realize the “Pre” tag should be there.
