I tested several posts that were 6-8 months old. Nowhere DID it say at least 1 year old, but I see that you added that in the description now (Last Updated: 2013-5-15). So I reinstalled it and it is actually more than one year because testing several pages it didn’t actually start to work till I got to a post that was back in January 2011, and yes I refreshed the pages to see if it was just because of a scared spider.

As far as the one star, if I were to install this for the first time again now, I would not see any spiders in posts older than just one year still, so I would still give 1 star because it would still appear not to work. Perhaps if there were a bit more accurate details I would have given more and not felt like I wasted my time checking it out.

Now that I see it work with posts over 2 years old, I would give it a 2nd star.

OMG! I searched EVERY PLACE and can’t find that string of code to add to my Jetpack Share plugin. I want to add a Blogger share button too but can’t find the code to add for the link.

Have you found anything yet???

Update: I updated the Flash player and it worked. But that doesn’t explain why it didn’t work on my site but did on the plug-in’s home page.

I’m still using your plug in, I’m actually in the process of changing things around on my site and will be turning it back on again shortly.

But if you could get it to ignore the media coding, and just show the regular text in the excerpt that would be great.

Also, it displays the URL’s of images and Links too. If you have an image in the top portion of the post it displays the Image URL in the excerpt and the same thing for links too, so it’s not just Media, it’s simple images and links also.

Ahhh. See I’m not the only one looking for the same thing. Let me know if you find something.

Checked for a file called .maintenance in my blog directory and deleted it and all is fine now. Not sure why Auto Upgrade didn’t work though..
