Hi Mikko, many thanks for the quick reply and clarification. It all makes sense now that I understand what the problem is. I’m sorry, I should have spent more time investigating how the plugin works. I still like the concept and I’m sure it can suite certain applications but not for entire site search, that’s for sure.

thanks for the feedback. Could you elaborate your answer a little more? Why may the server crash? Is there any alternative?

This plugin provides exactly the function we were looking for, just word autocompletion, not post title suggestion, fancy result lists with images, etc… like SearchWP Live Ajax Search you recommend.

I’m considering to use this plugin on a production site, I’ve been testing locally with no issues at all.

Obviously your opinion is very important to us.

Same issue, using sage 8.5.1 theme. Submit button holds on disabled mode, no matter if the reCAPTCHA validates or not. Tested both with/without forced javascript output and on firefox and chrome latest versions. Form IDs are set correctly.

Maybe a bit late, but just in case anyone else is facing the same issue: it has nothing to deal with woocommerce. The problem was caused by relevanssi. It wasn’t a problem actually, it was set up to create excerpts containing the search term hits. That’s all.

The problem is because you’re probably using an outdated version of CF7. The plugin works as described.

Yes sorry, I’m using bedrock by roots.io and forgot to change the environment from development to production, so the must use mu-plugin “Disallow Indexing” was forcing “blog_public” return 0.

I’d recommend to ask your hosting provider if full SMTP authentication is required to send mails from your hosting. Some companies lock the server’s mail service for security reasons, especially on shared ones.

I came across this issue once and I solved with the WP Mail SMTP plugin which reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use SMTP instead of mail(). It creates an options page on the settings menu that allows you to specify the advanced mail options and send a test email.

which version of woocommerce are you using? It seems that the new 2.0 version allows to set specific shipping methods for cash on delivery payments, maybe there is the clue… I guess you can create new cash on delivery shipping methods with the extra cost applied on them.
