Hi, in the mean time I’ve realised how the featured images work and I would just like to say that everything works fine and my question was totally irrelevant (sorry!).

The thing is that I was expecting a featured image of a certain page to appear at the top of the page (as at some themes does) but in Accelerate it appears in the widgets areas and elsewhere.

So everything OK with Accelerate.

All plugins deactivated. Drop down menu works! Thank you!!

Hi, again, I’ve installed another theme – Match, which also supports drop down menu and I have the same issue. The sub items jump back when I click Save menu. So I guess something is wrong with my WordPress as such ot with the Pho theme …

Yes I know. But when in Menus I set the menu sub items (by dragging them to the right) and click Save Menu, they jump back to the left and become primary items.

Unfortunately not. I have it on local server…

Now I see what you mean. Every time you activate a new theme you need to set all the theme options once again. I’m used to do that with the menus which also loose functionality when you activate a new theme. Now I see that the same goes for all the other theme options as well. I’ve done it and the slider now works. Thank you!

Just that I’m using the theme Accelerate and when I add style.css and functions.php I loose the slider (it’s not displayed on the front-page any more).

Can you think of something else I should add to make it work. Like enqueue also a JS?

… but it does not work … it gives:
