Just found out how to do it:

1. Set excerpt

Settings > Reading > For each article in a feed, show (set this to Summary)

2. Write excerpts

Write the excerpt for each page. If you do not see the Excerpt field click Screen options (top right when editing page) and click to show Excerpt field.

3. Enjoy having excerpts on the screen

And the Image Services widget will automatically show the excerpt.

Hi, I would also like to know how to show excerpts instead of page content.

I’m taking about the widget Image Services. You can have 6 pages on business page. Each showing a featured image plus the first words of the page. But I would like to show a feature image and an excerpt of a page.

Is that possible?

First: What do you mean by P.E. in your sentence “but my german translations are not shown up. P.E.” ?

Second: I’ve translated my custom strings entirely with Poedit, while I have a feeling you are translating it with woocommerce_product_tabs – the method I don’t know about.
