    Update: We rolled back the update to 1.48.1 and everything is working perfectly fine. Hope the next update of Sitekit is a stable one.

    Hello James,
    Thanks for the reply.
    We use NewsPapper Theme with plugins like Yoast and WP Rocket.

    We tried a few things before we removed the Site Kit plugin. We tried increasing PHP memory limit etc. But nothing worked.

    As soon as we removed the Site Kit Plugin, everything became normal for us. In fact a little faster.

    Have sent you the site health info as well.
    Thanks, hope you find a solution soon.

    Hi, Thanks, Godaddy on their own put us on the RUM (Customer Experience Improvement Program) program, without informing us.
    We opted out of it and seems like the script has evaporated. The console is validating, will let you know if the error goes away completely. Thanks for the help.

    Hi, we found the culprit, the cache plugin was creating a conflict when we put redis object cacheing plugin on. We saw some problems and deactivated and deleted the redis plugin, but that plugin did not delete all its cache files.
    Finally, in error log it showed that redis conflicting file and we deleted that. Now the dashboard/admin panel is much better.

    Also, then Yoast with newspaper theme also slows the dashboard down. But the main culprit was that Redis object cache plugin, which does not work with WP-rocket nor with Wp-Fastest cache.

    Thanks

    The hosting is Godaddy and they have one simple ans for everything. Either disable all plug-ins or upgrade the server. We did upgrade and the problem persists.

    On default theme the connection lost problem does not happen. But the dashboard is still slow. And cpu usage goes to 75percent. Which is strange. It was not the case in previous wordpress. Could cashe plug-in be the problem or yeast? As without yeast the dashboard becomes slightly better.

    Hi,
    I did update the theme and the plugins.
    But I still having high CPU issues. Very strange and this happens as soon as an editor/author/admin logs into the WordPress Admin panel/dashboard.

    Hi,
    We did install Jquesrry migrate helper.
    It shows us the following:

    This page generated the following warnings:

    https://www.gadgetbridge.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/js/tagdiv-theme-plugins-setup.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated
    https://www.gadgetbridge.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_wp_admin.min.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated
    Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If you are, you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in the warnings for an update.

    Dashboard has become really slow for logged in users, also the front end of the site has slowed down too, is there a way we can go back to the previous WordPress release till these issues are sorted?

    Thanks, we get server timed out error when we try to access post editor. When we disable amp, it opens ups in normally and no errors. It is only when yoast and AMP are enabled together on Newspaper theme.

    Thread Starter m3gadeath

    (@m3gadeath)

    Thanks for replying, it is happens with Newspaper theme. As soon as you enable it in the Newspaper theme panel. The workpress admin panel is really slow because of AMP+Yoast.

    Also, we tried it in other theme, it is slow, but it opens up.

    Yea, we updated, but now the theme is also updated and we are facing major style sheet issues, everything on the mobile theme has gone for a toss, no images loading page is also not loading, showing blank screen ?? we really liked this plugin, but under current circumstances, we would need to diable it… our theme is newspaper 9.6 and this plugin is now uncompatible with the mobile theme, majorly because of CSS and minify javascript. ??

    Thanks, we disabled WP-rocket and autoptimise. The desktop website is not working fine, however has become slow. But the problem persists on the mobile website. We have to physically refresh it for the new articles to load on it.
