Ok will do, thanks. And when you have a minute I wanted to ask you about some other services you might provide, web development, etc. Can you email me at lyledeixler at gmail dot com? Thanks.

I want to install Amazon Auto Links on my site (www.copyvigilante.com) but when I found it in a plugins search on www.remarpro.com it says: “Untested with your version of WordPress”. I’m running version 4.3.1, which I believe is the most current version. Will Auto Links work with this version? Thanks.

In reply to: Adding Amazon Affiliate/Associate links to my siteOk thanks, I’ll check it out.
Ok cool, thanks for the localized links and info!
Ok great, thanks. Also, what about if people from another country click on one of my amazon links and buy something? Will it still get credited to my account? And is there any sort of youtube tutorial I can watch on how to use Amazon Auto Links? This is the first time I’m trying this with one of my websites and I certainly want to get it right and then use it on my other websites. Thanks again.

In reply to: Adding a link to my Kindle book onto my websiteActually I figured it out, thanks again for your help. I wanted to make the cover of my book the link (I didn’t fully explain that in my previous posts, sorry) so I first had to install the Image Widget on my site. Then I used that to add my cover image and make that the link to my book on Amazon. Thanks again.

In reply to: Adding a link to my Kindle book onto my websiteSo I added a text widget to my sidebar. I cut and pasted my book’s link from Amazon into the text widget. While it appears on my website, https://www.soma1894.com, where I want it to, on the right side and above my Facebook and Twitter buttons, it’s just the Amazon URL and not a live link, you can’t click on it to get to my book on Amazon. If you have a minute please take a look at my website when you can, I’ll leave it on there so you see what I mean. Thanks.

In reply to: Adding a link to my Kindle book onto my websiteThanks for getting back to me.
Ok esmi, I have the link and my ASIN code from Kindle.
And Christine, I think I can use widgets in my sidebar but will check now. While I’ve set up some blogs on wordpress.com on my own that was a while ago.
And I used a developer for my https://www.soma1894.com site, which is on www.remarpro.com but I want to do certain things on my own, like adding this link. I’m going to check my dashboard and sidebar to see if I can add it, thanks.

In reply to: Adding a link to my Kindle book onto my websiteI’m not sure how to add it to my site. I’d like to put it on the right side of the homepage (of https://www.soma1894.com), above the Facebook and Twitter buttons, with a brief note that says something like: Read Lyle’s novel on your Kindle.
Thanks.

In reply to: how do I turn off all commentsThanks a lot. I don’t know how to use SQL so I did it manually. Thanks again.
Hi and thanks for getting back to me.
I have the plugin you recommended sitting in a zip file on my desktop. I just don’t know how to install it.
And when I go to the link you suggested to upload a zip – example.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=upload it redirects me to iana.org/domains/example and really doesn’t help me to install it.
Hi and thanks for getting back to me. I went to plugins, add new and still don’t see how I can install the zip file on my desktop. I also searched for google analytics at plugins, add new and 13 pages of options appeared. I installed the first one, Google Analytics version 1.0.2 and it still didn’t work. When I click on the details for this plugin I see a message that says: Warning this plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress. I also see it has not been updated in quite some time.
When I do this search again at plugins, add new, is there a specific one you recommend that I install? Thanks again.
