In reply to: [WooCommerce] German taxes wrong 16% instead of 19%Hi krugmedien,
sorry I just commented to say that I can see the same calculation problem you mentioned. I found no solution even after editing some settings, so I cannot say exactly if it is possible. (or also if that is a bug or not)
As mentioned I also checked some older WC versions, and created an 1€ product here as well. I can see the same calculation already in version 3.4.3.
I agree with you, that when 19% tax is active, that we should see 0,19 € tax and not 0,16 € on a 1€ product.
So I also hope that someone from WC will see this and check, and hopefully tell us whats up here. Or if maybe we overlooked something.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] German taxes wrong 16% instead of 19%Hi there,
I just found your post here and on stackoverflow. Right now Iam working on a new WC installation and wanted to check this.Yes, I can see the same problem on the following versions:
– current version (3.8.1)
– version 3.6.5
– version 3.4.3On another shop which uses “No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax”, the calculation is correct. (e.g.1,19€)

In reply to: [WooCommerce Smart COD] Cannot update the extra fee in optionsSome more Info…
I now found an entry in the database which, maybe, has to do with that problem.option_name:
codpf_ratesoption_value was:
a:1:{i:0;a:4{s:10:”total_from”;s:4:”0.00″;s:8:”total_to”;s:4:”0.00″;s:3:”fee”;s:4:”4.00“;s:8:”fee_type”;s:6:”amount”;}}I now changed this entry to:
a:1:{i:0;a:4{s:10:”total_from”;s:4:”0.00″;s:8:”total_to”;s:4:”0.00″;s:3:”fee”;s:4:”5.60“;s:8:”fee_type”;s:6:”amount”;}}Deleted all transients and sessions.
But still, on the frontend it shows as 4.00€?!
Hi nintechnet,

I now already disabled uploads with your plugin.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Smart COD] No COD payment option after installingYes, I also tried other plugins, for example the “WooCommerce Cash On Delivery Plus Fee” plugin. But this plugin for example has some other problems (wp menus fatal error).
There is a work around to get this Smart COD plugin working.
You can leave the “Enable for shipping methods” option blank.
And instead at “disable on specific shipping methods of zones” add all the methods which dont use cod.
This seems to work for me.But anyway, thanks for the feedback @champdor

In reply to: [WooCommerce Smart COD] No COD payment option after installingHello there,
I experience the same problem “champdor” describes here.If I delete the enabled country and all shipping methods COD is visible and selectable but it is enabled for all shipping methods (not good).
If I give one shipping method in “Enable for shipping methods” field — which would be the required working — then the COD disappears from all shipping methods. Never enabled for any combination.
As soon as one shipping method is added, the COD disappears from the frontend totaly.
I got the same error as “Art Project Group” descriped.
Hope you will fix this in future updates.I have the same problem, on at least one site of my customers.
I updated and the above stated error message appeared on a white screen, removing/moving the plugin from the plugins folder makes the site accessable again.
But as soon as I re-install this plugin it breaks the site again.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [The WP Remote WordPress Plugin] Previously Great now DisappointingHi there,
today I had to do plugin updates on a e-commerce website.
In total there where 8 plugins to update. The first 5 plugin updates went smooth, I did the updates one at a time trough wp-remote. After each update I checked on the backend to make sure the plugin is still activated.
After the first 5 plugins I than updated the Autoptimize plugin, this gave me the following error: WP Remote blocked. Performing alternative update…
And than I saw that the following 2 updates where automatically started. In this case theses were 1.WooCommerce and 2.WP Mail SMTP plugins.
After some seconds I could see that both plugins got an error message at WP Remote, I quickly refreshed the site and had to realize that both plugins where deactivated.
Why is it like this: if one update is “blocked”, than go ahead and automatically start all other updates!?
Also I think that I had the error before, but as it happened I thought I had just miss-clicked on the Update-all button, but Iam not so sure anymore.
You see, Iam still using this service, as I couldnt find another alternative that fits. Other than this strange behaviour, I can say that the refreshing of the sites, and also the speed at wp-remote is more better and reliable as of today!
Have a nice day!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product Category Filter Not Showing Up After UpdateI just updated WooCommerce today and I also got this problem.
Like lorro said I can also see this problem when Yoast SEO is active, as soon as Yoast is activated I am not able to use the filter anymore!
I now had to reactivate the old style drop down which is linked in this thread here.
So, not really resolved?!

In reply to: [The WP Remote WordPress Plugin] Previously Great now DisappointingHi Jeramy,
today I updated the WP Remote plugin and also updated some plugins with it.
This is the outcome:33 sites total, on atleast 4 differents servers/configurations.
First I needed to update the WP Remote plugin itself.
On one site I got an error “Updating plugin failed. WP Remote Plugin not installed”.
After a refresh this message was gone and WP Remote was updated.
No other site had this problem. On another site, which is also on another server, I got the error “Updating plugin failed. The plugin is already up to date.” (Iam using a german version, I dont know the exact english text)
This error happens with the “Yoast SEO” plugin.
After a refresh, the message was gone BUT the plugin was also deactivated!
No message at WP Remote, I had to check the WP backend. On another site, also on another server as the first two, I got the the message “Updating plugin failed. This plugin could not be re-activated.” after updating the “Heartbeat Control” plugin. After a refresh the plugin was updated and was also active.
On the same server, but on another site I got the same error but regarding “WooCommerce”. Again, after a refresh it was updated and also active.
This site also have the “Heartbeat Control” plugin installed, but no problems this time. And on all sites (which have it installed), regardless of the server, I got the error “Updating plugin failed. The plugin is already up to date.” with the “Yoast SEO” plugin.
But it was not deactivated on the other sites, just on the one I mentioned first. So Yoast SEO was the plugin with the most problems.
Aside from all this:
I could not connect to the domain https://wpremote.com/ the whole day. However I could access the WP Remote backend via https://app.maek.it/dashboard without problems. You mentioned a speed increase since the last updates, I can confirm it.
The sites refresh faster, and also more reliable, with less refreshes.- This reply was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by lws-mo.
