In reply to: Simple question – How do I put an intro paragraph on the home page?FYI: I also modified loop.php (3.0 RC3) so that sticky posts don’t display author/date/etc. I want a sticky to just look like “embedded” text.

In reply to: Menu in 3.0 doesn’t work right for multiple levelsI am getting all of the entries but in your example SubSub 1.2.1 is displayed directly to the right of Sub 1.2 and not under it.
I have changed the css in order that it works correctly; i.e., SubSub 1.2.1 displays under and to the right of Sub 1.2 but I question whether that was necessary. I can’t believe that this wasn’t tested before production. If you want to see the menu go to https://www.azvoices.com and mouse the “Send an Email” menu item.
Thanks

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Not caching in WP 3.0 RC1Me, too. I am also using 3-RC1 and nothing is happening. I thought that I was doing something wrong but maybe not. I just installed WP SC “out of the box” so I haven’t changed anything.

In reply to: Linking to just the postWhen you go to edit your post you should see all of your categories listed in the lower right. Your categories and sub-categories should be listed there. Check all the ones that relate to your post.

In reply to: wp_list_pages ‘exclude’ parameter doesn’t seem to be workingThanks MUCH, alchymyth,
I definitely missed that “unique” way of passing parameters. I am not new to PHP but new to WP so I wasn’t expecting that.

In reply to: Invalid argument …foreach() in capabilities.phpI ALSO have the problem. Where are all these people that brag about how EASY it is to install WordPress!!! My install is “straight out of the box” on a “virgin” linux system. Should have been 100%.
VERY frustrating.
