As far as adding a custom logo for the header just go to the header under the appearance section on the sidebar on the backend of the site and you should be able to change the header image from there. Not sure about linking the image to your home page though. I’m sure someone with more experience in this sort of thing will chime in soon.

If you log into the backend of the site, then go to view all pages. You should be able to do a “quick edit” on the individual pages and disable comments one page at a time. Or, if you want to disable comments on all of the pages try going into “screen options” and uncheck the comments box. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, I have been very hesitant at using pictures unless it is one that I have taken myself. Is there any particular website that I should be looking at that offers pictures for others to use freely?

I briefly checked out the site that you mentioned. It looks pretty nice! I will most definitely be checking out Artisteer when I get a chance (probably tomorrow).

Thanks for the reply InSightInternetMarketing! I will check have to check it out. With it being an Attorneys website I am guessing that it is more of a static site that a blog site, correct? Might also me useful to me when I start my next website. I have a lot to learn before I can start another site though.

Thanks for the reply. I would also like to come up with some type of a logo but I know that isn’t a WordPress issue. I will look at some different themes to see if anything fits what I am trying to do. I will also check into the competing blogs idea. So far I am just trying to beef up the content but I would also like to try to make it a little more visually appealing if possible.
