In reply to: My theme has no TAG functionalityI hope you found the code.
i looked and did find the line:
<?php query_posts(array('category_name' => single_cat_title('', FALSE), 'order' => 'DESC', 'orderby' => 'date', 'posts_per_page' => '-1')); ?> <?php else: ?>
I guess I should change it, but to what?
Thanks again for all your help

I’ve pasted archive.php and I think this is the link:
I’ve made a copy in the meantime and renamed it tag.php

In reply to: My theme has no TAG functionalityHi thanks for your reply, but I think you may have misunderstood my problem.
The link you sent does this “This template tag displays a link to the tag”
My problem is more fundamental – when I select a tag, I get a list of ALL posts…
Any other ideas?

In reply to: Ia3 theme help needed!Hmmm.
I love this theme, seriously I do. The best, leanest thing out there. But when it comes to modifying it, I tend to be conservative, since I’m not a programmer.
Looking at the source code on your page – I see at least one thing that’s odd :
<!– G6.GS#footerOne –>
You have the closing of this div or whatever it’s called – / precedes any closing, but no opening. So your hacking of the footer has orphaned some lines – this may or may not make problems, but I’d be safe and restore the footer php file from disk… and any other.
Your footer can be very lean (https://www.lucidpictures.co.za/) without hacking anything.Anyway, I wish you the best with it – and what a coincidence your father in law being from here!
Regards

In reply to: Ia3 theme help needed!Hi Dariel
Well did you reload the theme from scratch? That should fix things – and while you’re at it have you upgraded to the latest version? – it includes a built in updater so that future versions won’t require us to start again from scratch each time, as well as other updates.
Once you’ve done that – edit the header file (called something head.php i think) and change: <meta name=”description” content=”iA is a strategic design agency in Tokyo, Japan. We analyze business goals and user needs, and develop interfaces that match.” />
tO your own description – your archi site is showing up with that content descrip on google.ciao

In reply to: Ia3 theme help needed!Hi Dariel
Yes you are correct, and my only suggestion is to borrow code from version 1, which had 2 versions of the gallery… although you may still find that not enough for your needs. I know zero php so can’t help you recode the file to make it work for you.
Best of luck

In reply to: Ia3 theme help needed!Hi Dariel
i’ve never tried that sort of thing I must say. In ver 1 there were 2 types of galleries – a single and group page – could you not just use those?
PS Ver 1.2 will be arriving today, I’ve been told, so let’s see what else is new…
PPS You’ve done something to the code that means that none of your page links show up on iphone size… did you mean to do that?

Forget about working on core files. Open the sidebar.php file of your theme and develop the login yourself. The trick here is, the “redirect to” command … after the login, the
user is sent back immediately to the page where he logged-in. Seamless
so to say.
