In reply to: [Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks] TOC in sidebarThe built-in WP Text widget worked perfectly. To do this:
1) Goto Appearance > Customize > Widgets and drag the Text widget into the preferred widget area
2) Go back to the WP page editor and add the TOC to the page
2) Switch to that page’s Code Editor
4) Copy and paste the TOC HTML from the page into the widget’s text field (Be sure to select the “Text” tab in the Text widget)
5) Verify that the TOC is appearing in the sidebar as intended
6) Delete the TOC HTML from the page content area
7) The TOC should now appear in the widget area and not in the content area- This reply was modified 4 years, 5 months ago by lukeobritt.

In reply to: [Client Portal - Private user pages and login] Multisite redirect confusionResolved. But, in case someone else is about to do the “plugin shuffle”, the only reason the redirect was not forwarding was because I configured the plugin to use the post theme, but I was creating pages, not posts. As soon as I changed from the post theme to page theme, everything worked exactly as advertised. Now, I can’t say for sure that this will work for anyone else. It could be that the page/post theme issue was a problem unique to my theme.

In reply to: [Client Portal - Private user pages and login] Multisite redirect confusionNew information: I had been working in the staging environment only. I pushed that to production and tested it again and I was indeed passed from the [client-portal] page, but instead of directing me to the correct private page, I was sent to wp-admin. Not sure what this means. I certainly hope you do. ??Ignore this. This was a staging credential issue. Once I dealt with that, the behavior on the live site was identical to the staging site. After log in, user is not sent to his private page. I tried the Twenty-twenty theme, and that did not help. Am now
beginning the plugin disabling adventure.- This reply was modified 4 years, 6 months ago by lukeobritt.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] HTML in image captionAt least I’m not alone. I have to do this without a plugin (not my site) so, for now, I have to be satisfied with adding the link to a line of text formatted to look like a caption. Thanks for getting back to me!

In reply to: [OceanWP] HTML in image caption@smc2935 Did you ever find a satisfactory resolution to this issue? I have the same problem, but I cannot access the plugins to test them, nor can I change the theme (not authorized). I’d be happy with a coding workaround if one exists.
