I am creating a woocommerce to mint NFTs on Polygon and I would like to add attributes and descriptions to my NFTs so people can see them in their wallets/OpenSea.

Hi currently we send a description and name of the product as metadata, so you can see it in the OpenSea. Right now the plugin doesn’t support attributes. But you can create your own pull request if you want https://github.com/tatumio/wordpress-plugin.

Also is it possible to personalise the collection name?
With current implementation no, we provide only a fixed smart contract. But again, it can be customized by your own development. Your Pull Request are also welcome.

right now the NFT Makers supports only minting when products are sold. And we are also using predefined erc721 smart contracts. But if have developer skills you can update the open-source code like you want https://github.com/tatumio/woocommerce-plugin.

The plugin is meant to remove the hassle in minting NFTs, and it does exactly what’s in the description. You need paid API key because we cover all blockchain fees for you. Btw it’s open-source, so if you want to update it for testnet, that’s completely possible. We don’t have it at the moment.

So if you want to try the plugin you have two options:
1) Pay the 9$ which is not really something which should ruin you
2) You can update code of the open-source plugin to use testnet version https://github.com/tatumio/wordpress-plugin and play around with it
