As far as I could find out other users do have a slightly different problem affecting more than WooCommerce while for us it only affects the WooCommerce plugin. But I will go on with my investigations and give an update when I find out more.

Can you explain why other translations can be done but none related to WooCommerce? We do use a some plugins that are using Ajax for example. Still the translations for them seems to work. Or do I misinterpret something here? Thanks.
