In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Blog pageThe default installation shows the posts on the home, or front, page. To use a static front page, create a new page, you can call it anything, “blog” or “news”, are commonly used page names. Then in Customize > Homepage Settings click under “Your homepage displays” “A static page”. You can then specify the page to be used for the front, or homepage, and the page to be used for the posts.
You can also use the “Latest Posts” block to show, on any page you like, the most recent post (or more). This also permits you to specify the category such that only the most recent post of that category will be displayed there. This can be very useful.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Remove navigation submenu plus signThank you, Oliver,
I missed that option. I do have the premium plugin – wouldn’t be without it!
What title do you expect? If you use the default and post on your “home” page – without creating such a page – the title “Home” will not show – since there is no such page.
It looks as expected from this side of the pond. A ship image logo, centered, above a horizontal line and below that MAYFLOWER STEPS and below that Find out all about the … with your menu to the right of that.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Enabling a lower logo size@rolfeyule you got me curious now. Even the tiny logos in the browser tabs are larger than that – 24 pixels on mine. So I wonder how on a website you would use such tiny logo images. I have looked at your website – it looks good there now.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Header and navigation adjustmentsThat works well.
Sorry I had overlooked the slider for Archive Title Font Size. That does the job!
To make my masthead as narrow (vertically) as possible I turned off (unchecked) Display Site Title & Tagline in Site Identity. I made the site name (name of club) part of the logo. That is now in 3 by 1 aspect ration, transparent except for the actual logo and text.
Your added CSS suggestion also takes care of the overlap on the iPhone screen.
Guess I should buy you another cup of coffee! Thanks!

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Header and navigation adjustmentsTake a look at pcphotoclub.org.
I have removed all additions in CSS.
While there please click the Theme tab in the menu to see the overbearing category title. I would like to just turn that off.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Header and navigation adjustmentsSliders work very well. Thank you.
One minor quibble. With the bottom padding slider at 0 (zero) there is a bit of overlap with the page title on the iPhone screen.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Size of logoThank you Oliver,
I thought I had looked there. I know old age is catching up with me, but I didn’t think it had gotten that bad that I can’t see the obvious.
Works like a charm for me.
