1. Clear any Server-side caching you might have. Depending on your website configuration and hosting provider, you can clear your website’s cache in your hosting panel.
2. Confirm you are running the latest browser version, try disabling all browser extensions, and using a Chrome incognito window to see if you experience the same.

1. Who is your hosting provider
2. Could you check what your image size settings are under WP > Settings > Media
3. Have you verified that the image is not larger than 2560 pixels???If you are able to share the image, I would be willing to test this out with my wp install test environment.
4. Have you looked into your server configuration, or if there are any size limitation under your hosting account
