Selecting Category to tweet does not appear to work. I have tried both variations pressed/depressed. Both just post anything randomly.
Zumatra – try using WP Shot url. When I used Bit.Ly I had same issue
Tweeting Perfectly (Using WP short url)
Twetting Picture – Perfect
Hash Tags – Perfect (Hash tags from tags)
Still testing CategoriesThis should have said – NOW TWEETS ??
I have changed from Bit.ly to WP Short url. This not tweets as it should with picture and url. I will check for hashtags next

Just done further testing and the Exclude Specific Categories is not working. Actually confusing as it would be more beneficial to select categories you want to “tweet”, rather than other way around.
Please remember to read my previous 2 posts regarding missing url/link
Thanks again
Just done a further test and hash tags are working when selected. The issue does appear to be the missing url/link
I have upgraded to 6.1 and Pro but it is still not working correctly. It now posts but does not include the url. The post in twitter looks like this:
#Liverpool #Merseyside Getaways: 4* France Break… 500 pic.twitter.com/85l9ZRfbty
The picture has uploaded to twitter. I use Additional Text at Start as my Hashtags – This works. No url is displayed (I use bit.ly)
At the end of each posted title the number ……500My twitter account is: https://twitter.com/DealLiverpool

In reply to: [Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Problem Writing FileHi George, I had exactly the same issues:
To solve the issue you need to make a NEW sitemap.xml and a NEW sitemap.xml.gz using Notepad. Just open notepad and save as each file named as above.
Upload the new files and replace current files. Change them so so they can be read, write, execute for owners and users.
Go back into WP and at the bottom of the XML Sitemap page select RESET OPTIONS. This should fix both sets of issue. I have just done it and all is now working fine.
