Get on the mailchimp website and click to chat with them. I had someone help me for two hours yesterday and finally got it to work. They pull up the exact screen for you to go to and work on so I don’t know exactly how to navigate mailchimp to be able to explain what we did and how to get there.
The chat box appeared when I was building an embedded form.
Sorry I can’t walk you through it exactly, but I had tried everything else and this worked! Best of luck everyone!

I’m having the same issue. When a customer tries to purchase a product they get an error message saying “billing is a required field” and “shipping is a required field” even though every required field is filled out. I’m a newbie. the site is lucidblooms.com

I FIXED IT: HERE’S HOW!
I installed and activated the “Checkout Field Editor for Woocommerce” plugin by ThemeHigh. Then I went to its settings. It did have the “Apartment, suite, unit etc.” field marked as required in the ” billing fields” I edited it to make it optional on the billing and shipping fields.
Save the changes!

Presto! It’s fixed!
