It seems the comments went into the database without being marked neither as approved, pending nor spam. Had to manually re-mark them in phpmyadmin to become visible.
For now, the only solution I can think of is to only activate the plugin for just a few minutes every day, so it can do the updates.

Is it because it’s outside the loop? It worked before…
Anyway, i moved endwhile after the sidebar and still nothing.
OTOH, I put another instance inside the single page and it does work…
