Never mind this, I found a work around. I really appreciate the effort to help me though.

Instead of the feature image, I just inserted the image into the post and now I can add the css for the popup. For the titles, I am just using some HTML a href=”#” class=”popmake-#”>Title and so on and that seems to work just fine.

Quick update, I figured out how to make the title of the post open the popup, but I am not able to make the featured image of the post open the popup. There is no field for the CSS when I open the image or the image editor. Is there a way to set the featured image to open the popup?

Not sure I have communicated what I need very well. It doesn’t look like the Remote content extension is what I am looking for. Perhaps I have misunderstood the nature of the extension, but I am not trying to load a page as a popup. I am trying to open a popup from a URL? Is there a short code to do that?

I am trying to have a popup open when someone clicks on the title or featured image in a posts used in a sidebar widget.

on the right sidebar there are some posts. Each post has a title and a featured image. Right now they redirect to a new page via the “Page Links To” field in the post. Is there a way to change the url that is in that field to open a popup instead of redirecting to a new page?

I may see an issue, not sure, but the template I am using for these pages is titled “blog” but I don’t see that as an option in the plugin settings. I only have “default” and “default thumb enabled. Could this be the issue and if so how do I fix it? If not, then what am I doing wrong here?

I think this is not a cashing issue. It seems to be an issue with the background color and the header color. For some reason if I change them in the CSS editor or the Theme Customize there is a long delay (several days to a week) before the changes appear. All other changes are instant.

I am changing the header color here and both are set to #000 which should be Black, but are instead currently white.

Thanks for all the help and so sorry about the late reply. It seems the issue is not that the changes don’t take effect, but rather that the changes are delayed by 24 hrs. I have cleared my browser cache, but that did nothing. I have tried to use some of the caching plugins, but none of those did anything or I am not skilled enough to use them. I am using Godaddy for hosting and wondering if the issue may be with them, but I have no idea how to tell or what to check there. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, but that did not entirely work. Now the font in my widget for paypal has turned black and the footer is also black, so you can no longer see the text. However, the fonts for the other widgets have remained white and nothing I do seems to change either. I tried changing the footer background to white, but that didn’t work. I have tried to change the paypal widget, but that didn’t work either. All I need is for the fonts to be dark enough to read on the whole site. Any more ideas.
