    @contentiskey Thank you so much! This just solved the issue completely. I simply had to deactivate the astra starter templates plugin and then I was able to update that plugin and with that also the rest of the plugins. Life saver! Thank you.

    Hi abletec, thank you for your swift reply and no worries at all.

    So, my operating system is neither, it is MacOS. Version 12.6.3. However, I did not think that could have had anything to do with the issue since WordPress is used on the web. I tried on safari and Chrome. Also, I used the same computer to update the plugins on my other site, which worked. So it must be something that is in the WordPress area of that specific site. My hosting is STRATO which I believe is a shared hosting?

    And no, no information is being provided regarding critical issues. I’am not that well-known with tech/programming so I can’t seem to find out what the issue is.

    I do think its weird that one WordPress backend for one site does everything within seconds and the other one simply refuses to do anything. So it must be within that the dashboard for that website itself right?
