oh sorry – thanks!

all of the upgrades for WordPress and all of the involved plugins have been maintained all along – the theme was built by me and not needed to be updated – I built it.

yes I know how to put the widget into the sidebar etc. it shows up there on the backend – but it is not showing on the front end – needless to say, obviously it is something with the WP upgrade as nothing has changed otherwise.

Ok so the plugin maybe was more than 1 year but less than 2 years.

its not showing on the sidebar and the template has remained the same for the entire time – are you saying the WP upgrade to 3.3 could be why it is not showing any longer.

I noticed earlier in the week that I was directed to a Total Bounty website for support forums on this plugin – I take it that is YOU..however when I posted something there I received no response which is why I came here to try to get this resolved.

So basically I will need to do without this plugin or use another SMS plugin that works ?? too bad there is no solution for this issue.

I have a site where I have been using this plugin for 2 years now and its been working fine. All of sudden it is no longer showing on the sidebar – the template has not been changed, it appears in the backend in widgets and not on the live site – weird. Has this happened to anyone else? I have deactivated and deleted and uploaded a new fresh version of the plugin hoping maybe that would do the trick but…alas…it did not.

‘https://www.looneyslaxclub.com’ is the website and it was in the right sidebar, however as you can see its not showing up

any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks for the advice however, I am still unable to locate something that does not require
1) a member to register (I already have user names and passwords for all 400+ members)
2) a member to pay for content (the content is free – it is just restricted to members because it is a private community)

I cannot believe it is this troublesome to locate what I need for implementing into this site ??

Members need to come to the home page of the URL and prior to being able to see any content beyond the homepage – they must login (I do not want them to go to the login screen for the adminstrative dashboard) just a login screen to view the rest of the site.

Am I making this more difficult that needed? Their previous static site was password protected but again it was 400+ usernames and passwords – it doesn’t appear wordpress allows that since the password-protection by page or post is limited to one username and password.

Are there any thoughts about what could be used to make this work the way I have listed above? I do not want members to need to register or pay for content, and I only want them to see the home page without logging in their user name and password to obtain access to the rest of the site.

This was working perfectly until I upgraded it automatically ??

I thought perhaps I needed to scan the folder to find the videos again, but it states no new videos found. However the original videos are in the video-gallery just as they were before I upgraded when it was working properly.

Now the videos are not showing up on the backend in the plugin in WordPress – somehow there must be a disconnect between the plugin finding the files on the server after the upgrade – this should not happen though , how do I fix it now without having to start over again and remove/re-upload the videos and thumbnails again. It should not be necessary once the plugin has been upgraded.

No – the files are there – I just checked and the images are there still

Oh and one more thing – when I select Manage Galleries – before I select it – it shows the gallery there with 2 videos – when I select Manage Galleries though it states no videos found – and no images ????

I updated the plugin and now my gallery is not found.
Am I supposed to go back in and change all the permissions to the folders again?
The gallery is there but it is stating [gallery not found] Help!
