In reply to: Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context inI can’t update it because I can’t get into the system. Getting same message when trying to log into the admin panel. What can I do?
Why did it stop displaying on the browser page? Does that negatively affect SEO?
I have static home page enabled. Now that I made the desired change, NO title shows up at the top of the browser.
Found a workaround. You can rename the page in the general settings.
Thank you for the quick reply, Steve. Since the title of my site is long, which I did on purpose so that search engines would pick up what I do as well as the name of the business, page titles almost always exceed the 60 character general rule. For SEO best practices, would it make sense to disable Rewrite Titles so that the page titles would be 60 characters or less? Or, should I leave the title of the site in the page titles–as they are by default–, even though that makes the page titles far exceed the 60 character limit?
Here’s an example page from my site:

Thanks again.
Thanks, Jeremy, It looks like the person who initially set up the site activated All in One SEO Pack. Does that in any way conflict with Jetpack? Thanks again.

In reply to: Disabling Clicking to View Larger ImagesAlso, curiously, when I used the WP photo editor to crop the image of the firepit on the bottom of this page, the image became unclickable. So, cropping with the WP editor appears to be a workaround. But I don’t want to crop any more images, as they look the way they’re supposed to. Do I need to use the photo editor and do math to scale originals appropriately to resolve this clickable problem? Please help. Thank you.
Thanks, Jeremy.
I disconnected and reconnected. I was forced to reconnect Jetpack, too. What did I disconnect and reconnect? lowcountryvistas.com? charlestonyardmakeover.com? Why does the dashboard look the same? Where are the parsed stats?
