Im having the same problem again with the blank page. I had an issue with woocommerce that disappeared after I updated the plugin. I could still see the plugin via ftp, but in wordpress it was gone. So I deleted the woocommerce plugin from ftp and downloaded a new woocommerce plugin. The plugin came back, but now when proceeding to checkout from the dk version and uk version I get a blank page…
Does the blog post you wrote also work on this issue you think??
