Your screenshots are not viewable for anyone. Appears people need to signup with Awesome Screenshots to view your images or install the plugin from them. – Not good.

Use this free service instead: https://prnt.sc

I suggest to redo the screenshots with the free service I linked and then repost them here.

I looked at your website and all shows as fine, even in my mobile screen, so I have no idea what the problem is.

Plus the blue “contact me” button goes nowhere when clicked. I suppose you haven’t given the button the correct URL to your contact form.

Thanks for the links, I already read them before coming here,

    but…

When I reviewed everything again, I reread (2 more times) the section “3-Using Feedzy” of the main documentation. I eventually surmised that it was saying “Feeds only” or “Feeds and Posts” option. It was just how it was written that made it difficult to see what it was saying.

Taking that, I see what caused the plugin to create posts. I created an item in “Import Posts” feature (Feedzy > Import Posts). The moment I created an item there using a URL for a feed, it imported the feed and created posts.

Initially, I had thought this was needed to get the feeds alone, not realizing it was taking the same feeds (same URL’s) to create posts.

So the short answer to all of this, is a follows:

Q: “How to get the feeds without creating any posts?”
A: Don’t use the “Import Post” section. If you already used this section, creating an import post item with a feed URL, then delete just it and clear you cache.

    Thanks

How to Use Extend Link in Block Editor
    The answer is “Classic Editor”.
The Extend link button only shows in the Classic Editor tool bar.

This says that any block that is a “Classic Block or Classic Paragraph“, that brings up the Classic Editor tool bar, will show the Extend Link button. This applies to any new block that is “Classic” mode or in previous “Classic” blocks.

You will not see the Extend Link button anywhere in the standard (Gutenberg) block editor tool bars or interface.

I did contact “[email protected]”, and they did provide a method to return back to the EML plugin.

Basically, so long as the database was not cleared of any data that EML previously entered before I removed it, then returning back to EML from another related plugin is easy and I did not loose any of the media categories media count per category.

    (FYI)
The other related plugin was good, except when “Adding media” via the page/post editor, it did not include the drop-down list of media categories I created, to facilitate a media item search. Only this EML plugin provided that feature in its free version.

I concur with the others. Glad things are working out for you and I understand things can be rough, been there myself (still waiting for the T-Shirt :/ ).

I will also say that this plugin is really needed by many, even myself. I have used this plugin for a long time and been very happy with it and grateful for it.

Will there be a reply to my question about this plugin?

Thank-you very much for confirming this. Way too many developers don’t, so kudos to you.

I installed your plugin because a website I work with got hacked and I saw too many external attempts (via monitoring) trying to use the REST API in WordPress.

    Appreciate the confirmation. ??

    (Yes this is resolved)

    Fast reply, thank-you ??

Reading the link your provided explains it, after working with the definition on my site.

I tested it and the count shows as off by 1 character, so maybe a space or some other non-visible character exists that I cannot find. I can work with that.

(For those who do not know where the “Site Title” is found in WordPress, it is found in the WordPress Admin area, “Settings > General” – Site Title.)

    Suggestion
A lot of people will never come and ask about this, so I suggest the following:

The plugin for this SEO Title field box provides a question mark icon for people to read a label popup that contains a link to this page:

    https://semperplugins.com/documentation/post-settings/#title

My suggestion, for that documentation entry, it would be a very good thing to add a notation and link to the very page/link you provided above to inform users that they can find out more information on how the plugin counts characters for the SEO title field box.

It is the cross referencing that really helps the documentation.

Ok, I see. That is where you were able to see the date. It then appears the date I just found is when he made the ZIP, and yours is when he registered it with WordPress.

    Give or take a day.

At least, finally, here in this forum, I was able to dig for the date, which really should have been included in the changelog.

Thanks for your help, appreciate it. ??

    (@lospeso)

    Thanks for the date.

    Where did you find that?

Was that found downloading the first initial version (1.0) and opening the ZIP to see the modified date?

If it was found there, I just did that and it was Sept, 8, 2009.
(I did not realize we can download the original ZIP, found in the “Advanced View”, of the right panel of the main plugin page.)

    I love it, precise answers.

Thank-you for your reply and the information.
…and yes (sadly), I have to migrate from Enhanced Media Library.

The answer to my question #1, was the crucial one. I have no desire to have permalinks changed to hundreds of photos, so the “No” answer is much welcomed.

From your screenshots in Envato/CodeCanyon page, looks very similar to the setup with Enhanced Media Library, which is just fine with me.

    Thanks Jeffrey-WP.

Is someone going from the plugin going to answer the questions?

    (1)
I believe you did not understand what Alan indicated.
Existing images that are already on the server stay where they are!
Only if you start using Media Library Folders, you can create new folders yourselves!. No links are altered if you leave the original images where they are.

    (2)
If you start organizing the images, by creating new folders and transfer the original images to the new folders then the links are changed!

Yes I did understand. I merely jumped to what Alan said per your statement (#2 quoted above).

If you install Media Library Folders, and start moving the existing images, you do not need to alter links on individual pages. Media Library Folders does that for you.

That piece of information was the major concern. I went back to the plugin description and saw that it did say something about that ( sorry, I missed that), but was in the middle of a long undivided paragraph.

Suggest – take that single piece of information about updating the links in posts and pages and make it one of the FAQ’s. It is important enough to make it easier to see and read, as many would, as myself, missed that part.

    Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for the reply.

I think, by your description you have confirmed that the plugin will create a new folder on the server and moves selected media files from where they were (in the default year/month folders) to the new folder created by the user using this plugin, … which does change URL of the media item.

So then, what do you recommend for WordPress sites that have a large number of images and many posts/pages with the old media URL’s in them if we use this plugin? (— I ask this because that could be a lot of manual changes in every post/page)

    Thread Starter lospeso

    (@lospeso)

The information you gave me is incorrect.

After your post, I saw there was a 15 day money back guarantee. A purchase of the Education Zone Pro was made, I tested it, and it works problem free with Elementor, WP Bakery and Beaver Builder.

Previously I tested the free theme version “Education Zone”, and it does not work with any page builder, which was why I asked the above question.

Plus, in the Pro version, in the Customizer, there is a setting specifically to use Elementor page builder for the Home page.

Note: for those wondering, “School Zone” is the child theme to “Education Zone”, where both are required for the child theme to work.

    Question is now resolved.
