In reply to: [Instant Breadcrumbs] Adding Sub-Pages and second home page on main menuHi there, my apologies for taking so long to reply. By design, the plugin will add your breadcrumb trail to the beginning of an existing menu (you may choose which menu to use). This may produce duplicate entries in some cases.
There are three workarounds depending on your theme capabilities, you may either remove the entries that get duplicated from the menu, or point the plugin to another menu that is empty. Usually this means removing ‘Home’ from the menu since that will always be at the start of the breadcrumb.
The third workaround is to manually insert the breadcrumb code in your theme (one way to do that is to use the widget option) but of course it is easiest to use an existing menu and styling.

In reply to: [WP Native Dashboard] Does not load the svnThis plugin appears to be in serious need of support. As far as I can tell, on my WordPress 3.9.1 test installation, none of the javascript necessary to handle clicks on “check repository” and handle the download process appears to be getting included in the admin page.
After a frustrating few hours of trying to debug this, it seems the author has hooked that javascript onto ‘admin_head’, which would – at the very least – unnecessarily load that javascript into every admin page, not just the settings page for this plugin. That could be causing no end of conflicts with other plugins. It may not be the entire reason for the issue, but for me, clicking “check repository” does absolutely nothing.

In reply to: [Instant Breadcrumbs] Showing same post title/category on all pagesThanks so much for the theme information – very helpful and a nice looking theme.
It’s possible that themes like this (that have lists of ‘related’ or ‘featured’ posts) can lose track of the ‘current’ post while they are looping through the other lists, which means things lower down the page might not be able to access the ‘current’ post. I’ve checked the Hueman theme and it all seems to be good, and I’ve not been able to reproduce the problem – although as you point out, some sites work just fine.
I’ve tried a workaround and released an updated version 1.4.4 of the plugin. It tries to capture the information the breadcrumbs needs as soon as possible; that should mean the data will be the same wherever it’s used – header or footer. Give this a try and let me know if it helps! If not, I’ll have to look a bit deeper.

In reply to: [Instant Breadcrumbs] Showing same post title/category on all pagesThanks so much for the feedback, this sounds like an interesting issue and may have something to do with a conflict between the plugin and whatever theme you are using. I will go ahead and try some footer navigation menus out; if you could let me know which theme you are using, that will help as well.
I don’t think I have tried breadcrumbs in a page footer before – so there is very possibly a bug to be fixed here… ??

In reply to: [Instant Breadcrumbs] Safe String Title SettingsThanks so much for the feedback! You understand the feature perfectly, and, as you have discovered, you also accurately identified a bug. Thank you so much for discovering it; using Polylang sounds like a superb way to test the page naming features.
The description of the settings is indeed how things are supposed to work. All the places the generator needs a page name, it should ask WordPress first. If the name comes back empty, only then should it go to the settings. It looks like I missed this step for the ‘root’ of the breadcrumb trail (which maybe a static page or the ‘home’ list of recent posts). Seems there’s a case there I missed.
Your solution appears to be the exact answer required for page_on_front – I hope that has temporarily resolved the issue for you, and I will go ahead and do an update on the code to include this fix soon! Thank you so much again, and I would love to hear any further suggestions or feedback.
