  • No Bzerka. Before you update wordpress it is always good to perform a backup so that if soemthing does go wrong it can be easily restored without losing all your hard work. If you do not feel comfortable auto-installing wordpress, you can always do it manually using as I said before your Cpanel and accessing File Manager. It’s not the end; it’s only the beginning.

    I’M guessing something went wrong with the installation process on your website. If you cannot connect to your wp-admin page, I would consider disabling plugins in your File Manager which is found on Cpanel on your hosting provider. To disable plugins from Cpanel go to File Manager then go to wp-included click on make new folder call it plugins_ext. Move your plugins into that folder. Reload wp-admin if that doesnt work you have to manually instal version 3.9 of wordpress, and there are a lot of helpful Youtube videos that will help you with that.
