By the way I am getting very confused as to which forum is which, I didn’t mean to duplicate the thread…. I think there is just the

The Engine Theme Forum (which I can’t log into because I lost my purchase code…)
And the widget wp forums (this is what confuses me as it looks just like the wp forum…..

can I follow your instructions above re the twenty twelve without doing damage?
also can I upgrade to the latest wp version without breaking site. Last time my site wouldn’t work after upgrade so I had to get a friend to reload my site. How does one check before upgrading..? Perhaps it’s best to leave it as is.

Sorry to be back! But I got the plugin in – digital goods paypal plugin and have spent a week trying to get it to work. I have the plugin guy saying its not the plugin and paypal saying it is, I thought with all your experience you may be able to recognise the issue.

The plugin guy, changed some code to make it show up in your digital gateway so I could check it, which was great – i have a feeling it’s could be a paypal issue or something I have done.

– But the plugin is now sending me off the website to sandbox even when I choose standard paypal to purchase with. the paypal guy says the code needs to be changed in the plugin php to direct the purchaser not to the sandbox.

So I have pestered paypal and have emailed and are waiting on a response but was hoping you may have seen this before and have a fix suggestions also?

is it possible I uploaded it wrong and to the wrong place in wordpress? Or Have I done or not done something in EDD area….?
