I mucked about in the cpanel for the site and now it works.

Can someone else confirm they can see the site for me?

Nope.

index.php is the only index type file in the diretory.

The WordPress admin console thinks that the site is working fine. I wrote a new post and hit publish and everything looks fine on the back-end. The preview button shows the website fine with the new post, it displays the graphics and all that..

But when I try to view the site in the browser it doesn’t show up. Just a blank page.

It seems to work as well when I turn it off the formatting and choose different options in the boxes. I will try out your version as well. If I turn off the WYSIWYG editor will it auto format things or will it just accept whatever html code I put in?

It seems like every post asking how to do this just tells the person to search for wpautop.

How can I just force in multiple blank lines into a post?

Seems like this is unfixable.

1) I have put it in the https:// , just left it off here in order to make it quicker to type.

2) mod_security? Don’t know what that is, but, would it be that specific to allow links to anything under the sun besides a link that contains the straing images in it?

3) I used to be able to post links and images from imageshack with no problem.. then one day it just stopped.

So strange.

What would make my install decide to break on https://www.images(anything).com and no other sites?

Even after a fresh install?

Note 2: I just blew away my entire install, reinstalled from scrated, restored my databases from a backup, and the problem still exists.

It seems to be all posts I try to edit / create now. If I put an image link in them it wont save.

It seems to be when I want to link to an image I have hosted on another site. When I put in an image with a local link it works fine but as soon as the images goes off site it wont publish.

Any ideas? It’s always worked in the past.. I go away for a week and come back to it being broken.

Never mind, figured it out.

I created a second post.php file called post_tiles.php, chopped off the part that displayed the post content, edited the catagories page to call post_tiles.php instead of post.php and viola.

I tingle inside with all this excitement.

No one has any idea?

marcy: I took off that second <div class=”post-info”> and it totally threw the site for a loop. The sidebar went missing, the posts were lined up next to each other.. oy. I have no idea what that second post info div does but it sure is needed. I wonder what it’s for and why it is so crucial to the layout of the site.
