In reply to: [Backup Migration] Backup FailedHi,
I have monitored backups for the past week and one in three seemed to succeed. I have now implemented your recommended changes, except the one which would have disabled scheduled backups.
A manual backup worked without issues.

In reply to: [Simple Newsletter Plugin - Noptin] Cannot Find WPForms AddonThanks Brian, I found the documentation, and it was a breeze to implement your service, but – see new post.
I found it. You had made changes to my theme’s header.php file and left the script there on plug-in removal. Not professional behaviour.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Block Editor IssuesAfter fighting for a week with the Block Editor I have found zero advantages to using it. It slows down production of new posts, I cannot rely on posts or categories being saved properly. Post/Category relationships do not work. Blocks continually need repairing.
One post, I had to create a new post and copy the content to it in order for relationships to work.
It appears to be an utter shambles. I have not found a solution in disabling plug-ins. The interface is terrible.
So for my sanity’s sake, I am going back to the classical editor.

In reply to: Block Editor IssuesI have noticed that when trying to edit this page again, even though it uses the Block Editor, the URL said editor classical. I have now changed the default WordPress editor setting to block editor and the missing categories have suddenly appeared. Could this be the issue?

In reply to: [Cloudflare] Incompatible with most current php@diogocardoso2010 It certainly gets rid of the SSL looping issue and combined with WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache Plugin appears to make a good (better?) job of things.
I have also now started to use LetsEncrypt certificates in combination with CloudFlare’s flexible SSL and set SSL to Full.

In reply to: [Cloudflare] Incompatible with most current phpI have abandoned this plug-in and now use Cloudflare Flexible SSL instead. Running php 7.4.3

In reply to: [Cloudflare] 3.5.1 Crashes WebsiteCautiously rolled out 3.5.1 across domains and issue has not repeated itself. Do not like the lack of response from Cloudflare on this issue and looking at alternatives.
