In reply to: 2012 Theme: how do I remove the header shadow?Genius! That did it, thank you soooo much!
I don’t suppose you know a bit of code to delete the two grey lines at the top of the page too? I may not do it but it would be nice to see what it looked like! Thanks again!

In reply to: 2012 Theme: how do I remove the header shadow?OK, installed Jetpack–lots of interesting stuff there! But still none the wiser about how to use the CSS Stylesheet Editor that it brings up–don’t really want to learn to speak HTML fluently right now if I can avoid it! So is there a bit of code I just drop into the jetpack editor window?

In reply to: 2012 Theme: how do I remove the header shadow?HI there, thanks for replying (and so quickly!) No, I’ve literally just installed the site at my hosting company and uploaded the header image. I’d heard I should do a child theme if I’m tweaking it, but have no idea how to do that. Have just done a Plugin search and there’s one called Childthemify to create an instant child–should I use that?

In reply to: [oEmbed HTML5 audio] [Plugin: oEmbed HTML5 audio] WidthOK, but I thought you boffins might have a quick bit of code to add before and behind the URL! Audio players seem to be notoriously tricky to set up but at least this one works! No problem, thanks for the speedy reply. Cheers

In reply to: Can't add any audio player in 3.5 self-hostedSorry, meant to say, I’ve got the Soundcloud plugin to work but I don’t want to display the big soundcloud player, just a basic play button. I’m trying to link to a wav file I’ve already uploaded in my library.
Yes, the other sites where it works are on exactly the same hosting setup, a company here in the UK called Low Cost Names. All the sites are brand new. One of my other sites where FG does work is called simonplent.co.uk. THe theme on that one is Polaroid. Hope that helps.
Well you can always go and look at the code if you can be bothered but ultimately it’s not a huge deal, just a bit puzzling and annoying.
HI there. I tried with two or three different images/files. They just appeared as a kind of grey fuzz.I used FG 1.5 on the Twenty Theme with the latest WP version 3.4.2. I didn’t try deactivating the other plugins, no, as they are generally more vital to the site than favicons! I’m using Alex Set Favicon now instead which works fine, although it’s linked to an image in my library rather than an upload. But, as I said, FG worked fine for me on two other sites. The site in question is called freelancecopywritercambridge.co.uk.
