  • OK, I was able to activate the plugin, but I had to trick the system in order to make it work. Not sure, but I think this is due to some badly written code.

You have installed the plugin in:
    /domain_root/your_subdir/wp-content/plugins/theatrecms-lite/

The plugin tries to access some of it’s files in:
    /domain_root/wp-content/plugins/theatre-cms/

So not only is it ignoring the sub-dir you have installed your wordpress in, it is also querying a directory with a totally different filename. I assume this is due to updates to the plugin.

For testing purposes you could create the following folder structure in your domain root:

    /domain_root/wp-content/plugins/theatre-cms/

In the theatre-cms directory, you can upload the ‘inc’ directory from you installation folder. After you’ve uploaded this directory, try to activate the plugin again. The plugin should be able to include all files necesarry for activation.

    TO THE PLUGIN AUTHOR:
Though this work-around works, I would like to see a fix for this issue, because I’m planning on moving my installation to my domain root after a testing period and i’m not able to query or write out of the domain root.

Thanks in advance for the update or feedback.

I’m having the exact same issue.
Still investigating this problem, will post an update if I find a sollution.
