In reply to: [Theme: Quasar] Styling Widget Titles, Colors, and LinksSorry the formatting got it when I wrote <_a_hover_> without spaces. But yes, I would LOVE all links sans the top navi to be dark orange.
It probably would be a good idea to change the hover along with that. But it would have to be a very dark color to show up against the gray widget box. ??
The other accent color I’m tending to use on the site is an icy blue (#00AAE8), so perhaps a darker hover shade of that? 25% darker blue is #007fae.
Do you think link color as #C73F17 & New Hover as #007fae? Ah,well. If I can figure out how not to make it affect the top navi, I could always change the colors later!

In reply to: [Theme: Quasar] Styling Widget Titles, Colors, and LinksI have two more questions related to text styling if you don’t mind. I have made a text style change to the widget box using
body.page-id-1180 .widget_archive li a, .widget_categories li a, .widget_meta li a, .widget_pages li a, .widget_recent_comments li a, .widget_recent_entries li a, .woocommerce.widget_product_categories .product-categories li a {
font-size: 12px;
line-height: 16px;
}If there a similar thing to use to change the
<a>
link to a dark orange, not just<a>
dark orange orange? I tried making the change to the whole site (as it’s good website practice to have links stand out in general, not just when you’re hovering over them!), but the change affected my top navi menu.Something like #5E2612 will probably work. I have a Thing about links being visible links through formatting.

In reply to: [Theme: Quasar] Styling Widget Titles, Colors, and LinksNevermind. I just realized that the Title automates to <h3>, so I added an additional h3 styling and it fixed it. Thanks so much for your help! I’m really in your debt!

Yes, the title markup for h2 is working in my Firefox on my MailChimp widget and the Text widgets but not the Categories, Tags, Recent Posts, and Recent Comments. A good note here is that I manually typed in <h2> tags into MailChimp form and the Text widgets. However, the widgets for Categories, Tags, Recent Posts, and Recent Comments come with automated fields for the titles. Maybe that has something to do with it?

In reply to: [Theme: Quasar] Styling Widget Titles, Colors, and LinksThanks so much for your help! I just put in the code to the main page. It does the trick on the blog, sans a few of the widget areas. (I’m not sure why the change did not affect Recent posts, Recent Comments, Tags, or Categories titles, however.)
Unfortunately, the gray background affects other site areas, such as: https://loomcomics.com/aboutme/ and some of the horizontal rules I think (?) on the main page, https://www.loomcomics.com. As well as the form at the bottom of pages.
That’s the thing that is making me pause with this particular theme. I don’t seem to be able to implement the change ONLY in the widget areas.
I am willing to pay someone for their time. :< If you have Paypal. Much appreciated!
