@esmi, I was hesitant to re-install anything. I thought there might be a setting that I may have triggered somehow. I did eventually re-upload wp-includes, wp-admin, then twentyten theme, in that order. I tested the site after each upload and no luck, then I went to my plug-in section to check again. I thought I had deactivated all the plug-in’s before, but apparently I missed the Google Adsense one. When I did deactivate that one, the site started to work. I don’t quite understand it. It was one of the very first plug-in I installed.
