No I have disabled everything and tried deactivating the plugin but I wonder if there is anything left behind or if the file permissions recommended by AIO has some effect on this

This is on multisite by the way

I’ve tried disabling the plugin and the problem persists however I know that there are some settings and config left behind. are we looking at a .htaccess issue?

I have posted a question with all in one wp security to ask if they have any restrictions there.

I do not have any other plugins related to file download.

It just looks like there is an issue with clicking a link for PDF documents. All the other permitted file types work as expected.

I tried with a word .doc file but that errored on upload as a security risk so I tried with an mp3 file which worked perfectly.

The issue appears to be the actioning of the click just doesn’t do anything but if I right mouse click on the link and open it works or if I put the full path to the pdf into a browser it also works

sadly this is pre production and not online yet.

Any updates on this one?

OK I think I have found it. under all sites edit a site and in the settings tab change the “Siteurl” to the correct site url and not the main sites url /subdomain

I have tested this and it looks correct.

Is this how you would set the Siteurl?

Does this issue relate to the domain set in allsites/site/domain under the info tab? on all of my sub sites the main site domain is listed

Do you install the plugin and network activate or activate it on the main site only or separately activate it per site?
Where you administer it from?
Which features do not work on sub sites?
