looking in comments-post.php which is the page that loads displaying the comment error, I dont see anywhere to customize that.

and viewing the source of that page it has a reference to the wp-admin/install.css, it appears that the comment error is using a wp admin error page, have no idea if thats correct, but am also confused as to why its set up like it is.

its definitely something more than css, deleting the active themes index.php and having the site remain the same signals something more than that, in addition to the icons showing up when the default theme is activated, being that those icons are img sources in another themes index.php

yeah, but when I use <!–nextpage–> alone I get no pagination like I used to pre wp2

the only way I get pagination now is to use exec php and link pages…

was the quicktag for pagination dropped as well?

does anyone have any info on this? I’m still wondering where the quick tag went and why I’m needing to use the above code..

Ok I got it sussed,

in order for it to work I had to use Exec PHP plugin https://soeren-weber.net/post/2005/08/18/50/

then in my post I had to use both:

<?php wp_link_pages(); ?>

<!--nextpage-->

this got me back up and running, not sure why the next page tag alone didnt work?

[solved] for some reason powweb wasnt dumping the auto_increment, so I just added it into the new db and everything worked a charm.
